Crossdreamers.com: review and link 5/5

Jack Molay was one of the first people online to talk about what he now refers to as ‘crossdreaming’  – the term which he came up with once he was exposed to the anti-autogynephilia discourse.

Although it’s now lapsed more into a transgender site (feel free to correct this, Jack if you think that’s unfair), it’s extensive library of past articles make it a highly useful resource. It also has a forum and community attached to it, and Jack s a very very nice person.

Jack and I used to share very similar opinions on all issues relating to autogynephilia, but in the end I found myself finding Blanchard’s conceptual framework to still have some purpose. I also became increasingly disillusioned with the trans narrative and community and thus we moved away from eachother.

I checked out the autogynephilia subreddit, and overall, it’s… okay. It’s dedicated entirely to autogynephilia, which is a big plus compared to other subreddits where car discussions often get drowned out by political arguments or agendas. That focus alone makes it a valuable space for enthusiasts who want to avoid the usual off-topic noise.

That said, it’s not without its downsides. Traffic  seems pretty sparse, and without wanting to cast aspersions, the conversations aren’t exactly what you’d call analytical or sophisticated. There’s also the minor distraction that spelling and grammar seem to take a bit of a backseat.

Still, if some more heavyweight experts joined the discussions, it could really take off. For now, it’s a decent spot for talk—just don’t expect deep dives or cutting-edge insights.
