Top 10 verbal comebacks to transphobic comments and insults! (Meeow!!!)

Transgender

1. Rednecks Variations on the above: : “Did you do a special course in being ignorant…or did you just pick it up around the trailerpark?” “Wow…it’s like some law of biology or something: people with small minds always have incredibly big mouths.” “Has anyone seen any news reports about a village missing their idiot…I think I just found him.” Introduction The best thing to do with transphobic comments is to ignore them and keep on walking: why waste your time on assholes? As Sun Tsu said… The battle not fought is the battle truly won! Okay, he didn’t say that…but you know what I mean. However, sometimes – at the school dining room or the office water cooler – you’re effectively cornered. If you say nothing then you come off as weak…and the comments are likely to continue. Today, therefore, I’d like to give you some comebacks to transphobic insults.…

Unified Transgender Theory: is a transsexual woman… a real woman?

Transgender

Unified Transgender Theory Introduction…. Although we do not know the exact cause of the transgender condition, it is thought that just as there are intersex people, the transgender person is born with a neurological component – related with gender – of the opposite sex. This means that although they have the body of a male, for example, they feel that they are female. This feeling is so pronounced that they suffer a deep aversion to their body and a persistent desire to change it. Just as psychologists used to describe homosexuality as an illness that could be cured, some psychiatrists have tried to describe the transgender condition as a delusion/mental illness, and tried to cure it. However, this strategy hasn’t worked, and the accepted treatment for the depression of severe gender dysphoria is to help the individual live as the gender they identify with. As an aid to this, and…

Transphobic comments – Princess Joules video

Transgender vloggers

This video really put transphobic trolling into perspective for me. We sometimes get annoyed here at the obsessive fetishists trying to spam us with their fetish theory, but Princess Joules has to deal with HATE. I mean… real hate. I really just can’t believe these people exist.

Am I transphobic if this freaks me out?

Transphobia

I would like to share a video that makes me very uncomfortable. Here we have a chat show where they are discussing if Jenner should have won the Arthur Ashe courage award. A right wing agitator deliberately refers to another transgender guest as ´sir´. She responds by threatening him… “You cut that out now or you’ll go home in an ambulance.” I really am interested to know your opinion about this incident. Is Zoe Tur valiantly defending trans-rights or proving that once a man always a man? What is the appropriate response?

4c. The social and cultural value of autogynephilia

Autogynephilia

Wider social value Throughout the history of psychology there have existed various concepts that are empirically unverifiable – but which aid our understanding of a whole range of problems from addiction to mood disorders, anxiety to phobias. Examples are – the subconscious, self esteem, and self assertion. Now we must ask ourselves: does Blanchard’s taxonomy have any wider social value? To answer this, we must look at who is using it. Which artists, writers, social groups, philosophers etc. And I think anyone who knows anything about autogynephilia know where this is heading. Please read my article Direct evidence that the autogynephilia theory fuels transphobia So, unfortunately, the only social groups who find Blanchard’s work of any use are the forces of fundamentalist religion, the far right, and transphobics. As we have all seen in numerous websites such as the one in my article… the theory of autogynephilia and Blanchard’s taxonomy…

5. Conclusion – autogynephilia and the stigmatisation of older transsexuals

Autogynephilia

Conclusion. As previously explained, it is senseless to create two types of transsexual if they have the same symptoms and treatment. So we already know Blanchard’s taxonomy is invalid. However, we also know there are undoubtable differences between these two types of transsexuals. Isn’t it helpful, even if it’s discreet, to hang on to such a distinction? Definitely not… other than in an anecdotal, talking around a bar table after work “have you ever noticed that the ones who like guys are…” In a clinical and cultural context, however, it must be absolutely eliminated. This is why… I’m quite sure that the subconscious reason this theory evolved was that some psychologists started to get a bit sick of balding middle aged men claiming they were women, while at the same time they warmed to their pretty, petite, man loving counterparts. I understand this subconscious motivation because I feel it myself.…

The late-onset transsexual, transphobia, and passing…

Late onset transsexualism

Trans-gender media features a small handful of male to female transsexuals who succsesfully pass as cis-women. A classic example of this is Geena Rocero – who worked as a high flying fashion model for more than a decade. These noble women have chosen to out themselves as transgender and they should receive all the respect that such action deserves. However, the experience that these women have had – both in their trajectory as transsexuals and in their coming out – is markedly different to that of the comunal garden late onset transsexual. The reason is the same reason why some women are immediately courted and favoured over others: beauty. Whether a human is transsexual or not… if he or she is flawlessly beautiful at the moment of presenting themselves to the world… acceptance is forthcoming. I recently saw a perfect example of this on a British chat show when an…
