3. Should I transition? – Sexual motives

Felix Conrad

Transgender

Deep down, is it all about sexual desire? As a transgender person, you inhabit an alien body. Wanting to experience sex in the right body, and getting sexual pleasure from imagining sex in that body is, therefore, only natural. That’s why we consider crossdreaming to be a clear sign of an underlying transgender psychology. However, if you have been socialised as a male and the only conscious remnant of that psychology lies within your sexuality, then it is unlikely you will adapt well to transition: passion is not enough. Passion fades, starting with one of its main engines – testosterone. Hormone therapy means your libido will take a direct hit, changing the way in which you think and feel about sex, and this takes some getting used to. More important, however, will be the passion damping effects of reality: you will be constantly exposed to the stimuli of outwardly…

10 minutes of common sense for transgender people

Felix Conrad

Transgender

Having written two books with sometimes opposing ideas and a whole range of articles under different names, I would like to share a concise opinion of my current views on all things transgender. Most of it’s…common sense. Why do I see myself as a woman in my sexual fantasies and why is my gender identity blurred or contrary? We cannot answer questions about sexual identity with even the slightest certainty. Scientists do not yet understand the causes of homosexuality, so called ‘fetishes,’ or so called ‘paraphilias,’ so how do you expect them to explain gender-variant sexuality? In fact, we all take heterosexuality for granted but there are still fundamental questions that need to be answered about that! As a culture we are accustomed to the wonders of science and ‘knowing stuff,’ meaning we forget that there are many aspects of the human brain that are beyond the reach of contemporary…

5. Arguments against Unified Transgender Theory based on certain types of fantasy.

Felix Conrad

Transgender

Appendix: Arguments against Unified Transgender Theory based on the content of certain types of fantasy. Unified Transgender Theory is the definitive and final laying to rest of so called ‘cross gender arousal’ – the stick with which both the community itself and transphobics have been beating transgender people with for the past fifty years. Unified Transgender Theory states that ‘cross gender arousal’ before transition is universal in the transgender psychology and, far from being anomalous, is logical for a woman born in a man’s body. Furthermore, an imagined female form, dress and manners, is likely to feature in all types of fantasy – be they about her future in general or her sexuality. Cross gender arousal is, therefore, no longer seen as a contraindication to transgender, but as one of its primary calling cards. Even men who currently identify as men, if they always identify as women sexually, are considered…

Unified Transgender Theory: is a transsexual woman… a real woman?

Felix Conrad

Transgender

Unified Transgender Theory Introduction…. Although we do not know the exact cause of the transgender condition, it is thought that just as there are intersex people, the transgender person is born with a neurological component – related with gender – of the opposite sex. This means that although they have the body of a male, for example, they feel that they are female. This feeling is so pronounced that they suffer a deep aversion to their body and a persistent desire to change it. Just as psychologists used to describe homosexuality as an illness that could be cured, some psychiatrists have tried to describe the transgender condition as a delusion/mental illness, and tried to cure it. However, this strategy hasn’t worked, and the accepted treatment for the depression of severe gender dysphoria is to help the individual live as the gender they identify with. As an aid to this, and…

6. Transgender females and transformation

Felix Conrad

Transgender

A fetish for transformation… or a simple case of correction? All sexual fantasies begin with a leap of the imagination; a leap that involves transporting oneself to another place – the setting of the fantasy. Imagine a woman with a really sexy boss, for example; every time she fantasises about her boss she transports herself to the context. She may fantasise about being called to his office and him locking the door… or being at a conference and he invites her to his room, or one hundred and one places which then give rise to the actual sex. This is exactly the same in transgender sexuality… with one slight difference… there is a double leap: both to a place and a body. In transgender sexuality – pre transition – the individual is trapped in the wrong body and thus must be transported to the correct body for the fantasy to…

7. Transgender or transvestite?

Felix Conrad

Transgender

Attire: a body for hire FETISHIST POSITION: “I understand that clothes can turn a cis woman on… like lingerie for example… but only because they signal impending sexual experience. There’s no doubt, however, that many of your so called ‘transgender’ people are simply transvestites… who get turned on – without any other sexual partners involved – simply by being dressed as a woman. That is a fetish if ever I saw one.” Some crossdreamers – pretransition – have a higher erotic interest in female attire than ciswomen. This is due to the lack of a female body in both subjective and objective experience. As previously stated, sexual fantasy for a transgender person involves an imagined body. However, presuming that sexuality is born at an extremely early age… the infant is unlikely to have intimate knowledge of the female body. His conception, therefore, of how to make this leap becomes intimately…

8. Forced feminization and transgender sexuality

Felix Conrad

Transgender

Forced feminisation is forced upon us Of all the fantasies experienced by some transgender people (pre-transition) the most difficult to understand is forced feminisation. In these fantasies the crossdreamer is forced by a dominant man or woman to dress/behave like a female and perform sex acts.   But of course, it’s only hard to understand if you think that the sexuality of a transwoman must be like that of a ciswoman to be considered authentic. Trans critics love to leap on forced fem with the familiar charge ‘a real woman wouldn’t fantasize about being feminised.’ To which I reply ‘Obviously … that’s because a ‘real’ woman has already been feminised by biology.’ As stated ad nauseum… the trans-female sexuality lies buried beneath a mound of male anatomy, socialisation, and in many cases, the belief that crossdreaming fantasies are not a key to their true identity – but a key to…

9. Conclusion – transgender fantasy

Felix Conrad

Transgender

Conclusion There are various transphobic groups that will always obsess over the minutiae of transgender fantasy… looking for differences between them and the fantasies of a ‘real woman’. And guess what… they’ll find them… because they exist. Far from indicating  anomaly and invalidation, however, such differences are to be expected. Our sexual experiences have to pass through a mass of male neurology, anatomy and endocrinology, as well as socialisation as a male (that included being told that dressing and behaving like a girl was not correct)… is it any wonder that the resulting sexuality is different? However, putting aside specific fantasies of pre-transition sexuality, there is a wider feeling that the existence of any type of sexual arousal with respect to being a woman invalidates a claim to be transgender. Such negativity springs from our inability to recover from the prudishness and repression of the last century. It is still…

Is it selfish for a transgender father to transition?

Felix Conrad

Transgender

SCENARIO: A middle-aged father announces to his three children (all under 16) that he’s going to transition. Is this a selfish act that violates the parent-child contract? The first thing we need to establish when answering this question is – what tends to be the effect on children when a father transitions to female? There will be trans activists who claim that transition within families goes swimmingly… and trans-critics who claim the whole episode fucks children up permanently and traumatizes them. QUICK ASIDE: One difficult dimension is normalization. We could find many cases where ‘in the end’ the children adapted. However, in the end, children can adapt to child labour and child armies. If the children have to live with a transitioned father then they will end up seeing it as normal. This does not mean that it hasn’t had a damaging effect. Unfortunately, this is something that we could…

Is this all a fetish… or am I really transgender? (TEST)

Felix Conrad

Transgender

First, let’s do a test that explores the dichotomy of fetish versus transgender. [qsm quiz=22] The Context Every week, a teenager or twenty-something posts on Reddit about how wearing women’s clothes and imagining they have a female body really turns them on, and that, in fact, their entire sexuality is based on cross gender fantasies. Now, they’re considering transition, but can’t help think that maybe the whole thing is just a fetish because they get off on stuff like sissy hypno. This feeling is amplified by two factors… 1. Post orgasmic guilt/relief from the desire to present as female. 2. Although they would prefer to be a girl, they don’t mind so much being boys. Their principle questions are: – is it all a fetish? – are they transgender? – should they transition? And of course, the question is delivered with urgency because the earlier you transition the more feminine…
