Part 4 & 5: Building a therapeutic narrative for gender dysphoria

How to Beat Gender Dysphoria

CHAPTER 5: The healer narrative The happiest non transitioner I know is called Toni – a spiritual individual whose transgender narrative is also spiritual. And let’s use that to remember what I said earlier: that you can’t create blanket narratives for non-transitioners: by nature, they tend to be trans critical and in need of an explanation that fits their personality and outlook on life. So, while an empiricist may find Toni’s spirituality completely disqualifying – it’s the base upon which his narrative relies. As a spiritual person, it would be impossible for his narrative to be anything but spiritual. For Toni, the imporant thing is the historical position of transgender women in certain indigenous cultures, most especially a native American conception of gender variance that is called ‘two-spirit.’ In some Indian tribes the two spirit was considered as having the soul of both a man and a woman and was…

Do women have autogynephiliac fantasies?

Autogynephilia

Introduction Yesterday, I read an article by Noah Berlatsky entitled… Why Are Trans Women Penalized For Body Fantasies Everyone Has?  The article claims that when a crossdreamer gets turned on by lingerie or bimbofication, they are experiencing the same buzz a cis-woman experiences for lingerie or the idea of big boobs. In other words, it’s not some kind of ‘autogynephilia’ or ‘transvestic fetish’ but simply…a ciswoman’s sexuality trapped in a man’s body. Not only is this idea nonsense, but it’s the sort of narrative that ends up doing more harm than good to the mental health of transwomen. Why..? …Because it causes cognitive dissonace and unrealistic expectations. They tell themselves they have a cis-woman’s sexuality but continue to experience fantasies that they know, deep down, aren’t very cis. For example, fantasies about… _ Lactation, motherhood and/or female urination. _ Being humiliated and abused for being a ‘sissy’ or a ‘transvestite.’…

I hate the word ‘sissy’! Here are 6 alternatives…

Sissy Psychology

There’s been some tension amongst our small team of bloggers about the word ‘sissy’. As many of my readers know…I just can’t get comfortable with it. That’s why, every few weeks, I tend to have a minor ding-dong with Elle about her constant and unrelenting use of the word. This finally blew up in a testy e-mail exchange and that’s when she challenged me to find a synonym or replacement for the word, ‘sissy.’ I thought I’d share my results with you. 1. Syster I love the word ‘sister’ and ‘sisterhood’ so came up with the obvious trick of infusing the word with a ‘y’ from ‘sissy.’ Of course, it’s fundamentally flawed because when you speak it you don’t know the ‘y’ is there. 2. Padavka This is the  straightforward linguistic approach. After translating the word ‘sissy’ into 56 languages on Google translate (in many languages they simply use the English,…

Why am I a sissy? Different causal theories from the mystical to the mistaken…

Sexology

1. Because the Gods have a special mission for all sissies! Don’t worry, we’ll talk about science and autogynephilia and all that boring stuff, but I thought I’d start with an unusual theory for why you’re a sissy… …The Gods made you that way for a specific reason. The Kitsune Femcult believe that there are two Gods – one male and one female – who represent the binary nature of the universe – light-dark, matter-antimatter etc. – and most importantly… good and evil. Everything that is bad and painful and destructive is birthed by the male, and everything that is good and blissful and creative… by the female. These two Gods are charged with maintaining balance between the fundamental forces. Unfortunately, the male God seeks to bring our world into chaos and darkness.   Biological men whose sexuality or gender centers on being female (i.e. sissies, transgirls etc.) are women.…

Am I really attracted to men? (‘The Faceless Man’ and other essays)

Autogynephilia

The ‘faceless man’ and the terrifying possibility that we have no sexual orientation. Hi, my name’s Felix Conrad and I love black coc*k. I apologise in advance to black men across the world for this blatant sexualisation of their organs but, let’s face it, that’s what sexual organs are for. Furthermore, by the same logic I’ll have to start apologising to Swedish girls who work as au-pairs, French women that are actually French maids, and any other class of people who have become the object of saucy stereotypes. So I repeat…I love black c%*k. In fact, I love black coc*s – plural…the more the better, and the blacker and bigger and shinier they are, the better too. I would stuff them one after the other in my cake hole and merrily chomp on them like there was no tomorrow. Or would I? You see, this love only exists in…

My wife caught me watching forced feminisation porn – help!

Sexology

Dear Felix, I’ll get straight to the point. Two days ago I was caught by my wife in an extremely compromising position, watching hardcore Lustomic forced feminisation porn. Having read your article on ‘should I tell my wife about my crossdreaming’ I was hoping you might be able to tell me how the hell I can fix this situation. My wife won’t even talk to my right now. Anonymous Dear Anonymous, I wish that some sophisticated yet soothing words rushed to my lips, but the first thing that comes to mind is just….   I’m not gonna lie to you… this is some bad shit. I mean, there’s porn that everyone knows… two big titted blonde lesbian nurses spanking each other, but forced feminisation is a whole other level. And the worse is… she caught you in the act… so you can’t even go for the old ‘I was doing…

5 strategies for relationships affected by autogynephiliac fantasies

Autogynephilia

(This article is more aimed at couples where crossgender fantasies are causing a problem – not those couples who enjoy them.) COUPLES THERAPY: Listening to John and Nikki try different methods of dealing with John’s kink has inspired me. Here’s a summary of the five most common models I have experienced. 1. The Martyr Principle characteristic: devotion to family at the expense of sexuality. The martyr is a 100% closeted crossdreamer who has never (and will never) tell his wife/girlfriend about his sexual fantasies. However, unlike many ‘autogynephiliacs’ who lead a double life or lose interest in sex, the martyr provides everything expected of a husband: regular sex, a dose of masculinity, and a guarentee that his wife’s never going to return home and find him wearing a dress. The advantage of this model is that family life and sexual behaviour are not disrupted. Of course, the person who suffers at…

The psychology of forced feminisation and humiliation: Part-2

Sexology

The most important thing to bear in mind if you are troubled by fantasies that involve humiliation (be they forced feminisation or sado masochism) is that such fantasies are extremely common. While there seem to be some personality types that do not enjoy it, I would argue that the vast majority of people do, and that humiliation and control are universal tools of arousal. What differs between people is the degree of humiliation and/or control they desire. Thus, in a mild form, woman x might find it arousing when a dominant man tells her in a fatherly voice that she is a ‘good girl’ while she is giving fellatio, while in a stronger form – man x might enjoy being forced to eat his own sperm (there is an entire sub genre of porn dedicated to this desire.) Humiliation exists right across the sexual spectrum across all orientations and…

What signs were there in my childhood that I was transgender and what is the significance of these signs?

Late onset transsexualism

After such a long and exhausting diversion, I would like to return to our chronological narrative of the late onset transsexual’s life and development. So far, we have reached the first cross gender experience – which usually involves the young boy of four or five wearing female clothes and presenting himself to his family. What happens next? A very interesting thing to know is what would happen if instead of telling the boy it was not the done thing for him to wear a dress… they smiled and said very little. I would speculate that parental disapproval at this presentation of gender change behaviour has a powerful effect on the young child, causing him to bury his deeper female self with a vengeance. He goes all Taliban on that shit.   The successful subjugation of their female side is proved by the astonishing lack of any further signs of…

An anonymous account of the causes of late-onset transsexualism

Late onset transsexualism

1. Introduction Today, I’d like to tell you a story. I didn’t meet my father til’ I was 25. I grew up my whole life without a father, therefore, and told myself I didn’t want one. When I thought of fathers I always had this fucked up idea of them from the Breakfast Club. There was basically two types of dad… 1. Brian’s Dad: some boring, pointless middle-aged dude who said shit like, “Gee son…how’d you like to go fishing today?” Or… 2. Bender’s Dad: some abusive bastard who would give you a carton of cigarettes for Christmas and say, “Smoke up Johnny.” So if you’d asked me when I was in my teens or twenties if I wanted a Dad, I would have sworn an oath that I didn’t want one. And I was certain that was how I truly felt. And it was… …in my conscious mind. But…
