Why are garterbelts and stockings sexy? Our fetish for lingerie explained

Sexology

Underwear fetishism WIKI Buy lingerie! Etsy Lingerie fetish Many couples find lingerie, garter-belts and stockings the hottest sexual accessory that exists. In this article we explore the aspects of human psychology which make sexy undies so… well… ….sexy! This article also explores the causes and characteristics of a deeper obssesion with lingerie that sexologists would describe as fetishistic. This obssesion – often coupled with a fetish for satin – is divided into two types: non-specifc and cross-gender. If you are specifically interested in how a lingerie fetish fits in with ‘transvestite’ behavior, the final section is for you. 5 reasons why lingerie and stockings are so sexy…   1. Proximity to – and association with – genitalia, breasts and other intimate zones. The most obvious reason why lingerie is exciting is that it is in contact with the female genitalia and breasts. This proximity is exciting in of itself, but…

Was Blanchard right when he said that “Autogynephilia competes with heterosexuality”?

Autogynephilia

When Blanchard said that Autogynephilia competed with heterosexuality he was making a very Blanchard-like statement. For him, autogynephilia was an aberration while heterosexuality was a God-given behavior that nature intended for us, so it was inevitable he would frame any relationship between the two as an ongoing fight for the heart and soul of the individual. Rather unusually for a Blanchard-like statement, however, many crossdreamers strongly relate to this narrative of two psychosexual forces at loggerheads. Who am I and what am I? There are many reasons why the question of ‘competition’ resonates, but the most important is the desire to know who we are and what we are. What we’re really asking is – given all these different desires I have…what the hell am I? Part heterosexual part crossdreamer? A heterosexual with a fetish on the side? Bisexual (taking into account fantasies about men) or something completely unique? Caveat…

What is crossdreaming?

Crossdreaming

What is a crossdreamer? A crossdreamer is a person who gains sexual, emotional and psychic satisfaction from cross gender ideas or behaviour. The sexual fantasies of male to female crossdreamers can include any or all of the following… 1. Being dressed as a girl. (transvestic) 2. Behaving like a girl. (behavioural) 3. Being embodied as a female and having a vagina etc. (anatomical) The common thread of these fantasies is the need to be feminine. This does not mean they aren’t turned on by heterosexual sex. Many crossdreamers are married and able to play the sexual role expected of a husband. However, deep down their fantasies always return to being feminine. Where does the term come from?   ‘Crossdreaming’ is a term coined by Jack Molay for a phenomenon that some sexologists refer to as ‘autogynephilia’ (and psychiatrists as transvestic fetishism.) For many transgender theorists, however, crossdreamer sexuality is simply…

What are the signs my husband is a sissy, transgender or a transvestite?

Sissy Psychology

Sexual signs… 1) An excessive sexual interest in female clothing – especially super feminine items like lingerie and items made of fabrics usually reserved for females: satin etc. 2) An elevated interest in pegging or other sexual activities where he is submissive. A tendency to lie on his back and open his legs like a woman awaiting penetration. 3) An interest in sexual fantasies where both of you are somehow involved with another man. 4) In private he will favor porn based on the above but may also use porn which explicitly centers on sissification, feminization and/or transvestism. 5) A strong desire to have chest/nipples and anus played with. (Please note that all these sexual behaviors are features of other, unrelated sexual profiles and even if he ticked all of these boxes it would not necessarily mean he was transgender). Behavioral signs… 1) A high degree of empathy for women…

Is there a relationship between gender dysphoria and the fear of ageing?

How to Beat Gender Dysphoria

While I constantly disagree with Contrapoint’s videos, she often makes some fascinating observations. One thing that caught my interest in a recent video was that her transition was triggered by the first signs of male ageing. Basically, she saw the irrefutable signs that that her biological future was of the man type, and would involve such gender specific treats as balding and hairy ears. That may sound implausible, because, after all, if you’re a biological male you’ve known your whole life about the biological future nature has in store for you. However, like so many realities of human existence there are two levels of knowing: abstract…and first hand experience. It’s only when you see the tangible signs of that adult male trajectory that it becomes a reality. I will never forget the day in my late teens when I pulled my hair back to look at a spot on…

Blanchard in shock turnaround… “I was wrong about autogynephilia.”

Autogynephilia

In a surprising move, Canadian sexologist, Raymond Blanchard, announced today that he was changing the name of his controversial theory, autogynephilia, to… quackaphilia. In a move that will delight trans-activists around the world, Doctor Blanchard explained to the Toronto Times that after reading Felix Conrad’s merciless dissection of the theory in his ‘Autogynephilia memorial lecture’ he had to admit it had no scientific value, and was clearly the work of a quack.   This article is a spoof – and entirely fictitious (except the part about Felix being handsome.) Blanchard defended his professional track record in treating transgender patients but acknowledged his mistakes. “In the past thirty years hundreds have passed through my consulting room and received top quality treatment, but I have to admit that my theoretical work is a bit – what’s that word the Brits use? – Dodgy.” In an astonishing display of honesty, Blanchard admitted that…

Let’s give Anne Lawrence the praise – and the slap – she deserves…

Autogynephilia

This morning I was chastised by Fiona for subscribing to the views of Anne Lawrence. In my opinion, the subject of Anne Lawrence raises an important point for the philosophy of our community. Men Trapped in Men’s Bodies should not have been published in its current form. The editor should have insisted the author add appropriate qualifiers to her endless formulation of speculation…as fact. Again and again, Lawrence declares that late-onset transsexualism is an outgrowth of autogynephiliac sexuality when – not only has this not been proven – but it is impossible to prove or disprove. Furthermore, as someone on the front line of the Blanchard wars, Miss Lawrence has clearly been affected emotionally by the attacks of the transgender community on her colleagues. This led her to intentionally troll said community with the book’s provocative title and constant, repeated insinuations that older transwomen are men with a fetish (said in a…

Reddit.com/r/autogynephilia: Review and link

Resources

https://www.reddit.com/r/autogynephilia/ I checked out the autogynephilia subreddit, and overall, it’s… okay. It’s dedicated entirely to autogynephilia, which is a big plus compared to other subreddits where car discussions often get drowned out by political arguments or agendas. That focus alone makes it a valuable space for enthusiasts who want to avoid the usual off-topic noise. That said, it’s not without its downsides. Traffic  seems pretty sparse, and without wanting to cast aspersions, the conversations aren’t exactly what you’d call analytical or sophisticated. There’s also the minor distraction that spelling and grammar seem to take a bit of a backseat. Still, if some more heavyweight experts joined the discussions, it could really take off. For now, it’s a decent spot for talk—just don’t expect deep dives or cutting-edge insights. https://www.reddit.com/r/autogynephilia/ My straight boyfriend has AGP byu/218whiskeysunrise inautogynephilia

Sissy Prognosis: What will all this sissy porn lead to?

Sissy Psychology

1. Will continued use of ‘sissy porn’ lead to an escalation in my porn diet? There is no doubt that both psychological theory and common sense suggest that the constant use of a stimulant – be it visual, psychotropic or behavioral – will lead to sensitization i.e. it will stop working unless you use a higher dose. Therefore, while a simple pair of breasts might be enough to turn you on at 15…it doesn’t take long before you need all sorts of elaborate things and situations to achieve the same buzz. So, yes, escalation is inevitable. However, there is a point where the extended use of porn leads to porn-exhaustion and the user looks elsewhere for stimulation. Not only does excessive porn use start to hollow you out emotionally, but it stops working. ALL OF IT! You see, the paradoxical end-point of porn (and its ultimate escalation) is that you…
